SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 08, JULY, 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off on foot and paw at 5-05 a m.

It was already bright and warm.

Beach Buoy caught glimpses of the risen Sun between the rooftops as they headed to the beach.

A bright Orange Digger trundled across the Golf Club like a tiptoeing dinosaur.

Although it was sunny, a large silver moon hung in the air above the Cricket Club as though it had been hit for six.

They reached the Promenade at 5-20 a.m.

Two ladies sat on the sand, close to the end of the beach access.
They vaped as they chatted to one another.

Little Terns filled the morning air
It really did look as if they were preparing to leave?

The sea was sparkling.
Smooth sands waited to be walked.
It would have to wait a while longer.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog sat down on the sands.
Beach Buoy made notes.

Another Dog waited patiently, she was finally realising what is all about.

They rose before walking to the edge of the sea.
It was gorgeous and for now at least it was theirs.
The temperature and emptiness of the beach suited Beach Buoy perfectly.

They headed south.

5-59 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the stack.
It was full sun, but the moon was still high in the sky behind them over the dunes.
It seemed to be pulling in the tide like a cast fishing net.
Another Dog laid in the shadow of some high dune grass.
They sat a while.

"See you mate."
They headed to the Sandy Slope.

No sooner had they descended the slope, they had another sit and think.
The dune edge made a much more comfortable seat than a stone at the stack.

Beach Buoy made some notes.
No Gannets.
No Skylark song.
No Dolphins.
There was a Spider.
One of those with a tiny ball for a body with enormous legs
Beach Buoy watched it's progress along the beach.

It was a glorious morning.
In time, the 7 a m. Club appeared in the distance to the north.

Beach Buoy stood
They headed back.
"Morning."
"Morning."
the 7 a.m club passed by.

They walked the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the Clock Tower.

The clock is working but showing an incorrect time.

They sat in the shelter of the Bus Station for a while.

BEACH BUOY.
