Beach Buoy and Another Dog were going to go to the beach at 6 p.m.
It was too hot.
They finally arrived in the car park at 7-25.
Rain followed a minute later.
It was still sunny in places.
Even though there was some areas of brightness, angled rain fell out in the bay.
A made coffee that was meant for Stubborn Dog Stack, was consumed as Beach Buoy watched the progress of the rainfall.
A puzzled-looking family with dogs, stood at the top of the beach access ramp before deciding to head to the sands.
The rainfall crossed the bay, from north to south.
Hints of a rainbow came as the beach rain stopped.
They set off.
It was 7-38.
Two people with six dogs headed north on the dune edge.
The puzzled ramp family were already heading back to the car park.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued southwards.
At 8-02, the sun broke free of a dark cloud.
Patches of sunlight escaped across the beach.
Their sunshine shadows joined them for the walk.
Odd light struck into the horizon.
A group came into view.
They chatted.
It was Narla and Pip and their owner and daughter.
They wished each other well before heading in opposite directions.
"Evening Mate."
It was 8-16.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was hot.
"See you later mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog went and sat in the shade of the high dune edge, directly below the stack.
The view North to Seaton Carew from the height of Stubborn Dog Stack.
Coffee was drank in the shade cast by the high dune edge.
Then a slow walk back.
The Orange coat came off.
It was draped over his beach bag.
They approached the car park.
Almost 9 p.m. and still very warm.
Beach Buoy changed out of his beach boots as he sat on the van's side door step.
Overhead the sky seemed full of generations of Little Terns.
The young building up their strength for the long journey ahead.
BEACH BUOY.
