SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 15 JULY 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at
6-07 a.m.
Spots of rain fell as a lady in a pink coat and her dog with a black coat, headed down the beach access ramp.
The lady turned left at the sea, heading north on the water's edge.
Her black dog travelled north then south repeatedly, as it chased then fetched a thrown ball.
A metal detectorist had parked his yellow van in the south  corner of the car park.
He searched the sand just behind the dune edge.
He appeared and disappeared constantly, like lost and found treasure.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the sea.
To the north the Committee of Little Terns chattered away.
The tide was well in.

They headed south as rainfall fell.
They passed the owner of the very very wet retriever.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The dog meanwhile was about 15 metres offshore.
It was loving life doing its best seal impression, ball in mouth as it headed back to shore.

The Sea Serpent and the Sun both seemed reluctant to show themselves today?
A recognisable whistle blew from the dunes.
The 7 a m. Club will be doing a dune clean. The whistle would be to recall Mari, the big friendly Poodle who will have wandered off once more.

Sand Martins worked the dune edge.
Beach Buoy added six small stones to
Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
He patted
THE
stone.

He watched as Terns dropped into bay.

"Sed you mate ".
They headed back.
To the beach.
To the North.
To the van.
