SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 07 JULY 2022

Beach Buoy and Another Dog touched the first sand for over a week at 6-14 a.m.

There was hardly a breeze
It was overcast but mild
It was good to be out .
Beach Buoy looked south.
To the north the screams of a dozen or sea water swimmers filled the air.
Beach Buoy picked a flat route to reach the flatter sea washed sands.
He had to be careful with his burnt foot.
Each step he looked for the next flattest option.

It was slow progress to the water's edge.
The tide was slightly more out than it was in.

Beach Buoy stood at the water's edge.
The gentle breeze picked up ever so slightly.
The temperature was pleasant.
Stubborn Dog Stack seemed a walk too far today.
It was good to see the sea again, to be in the company of sea birds.

A Border Collie came over.
It dropped a ball at Beach Buoy's feet.
Beach Buoy obliged with his good foot and kicked the ball a short distance.
Three times the friendly dog came back for more.
"Sorry, she does it all of the time. Peggy!" said the lady owner.
They chatted briefly.

Beach Buoy began a slow and steady walk to the van.
Beach Buoy opened the van, then sat drinking coffee.
The ex headphone man now earphone man walked the car park perimeter.
Others passed by on both promenade and beach.
They walked their walks and thought their thoughts.

BEACH BUOY.
