SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 14 NOV 2021.

It was 2-14 p.m.
The tide had been in since the last visit.
It was on the way back out.
It was very overcast.

People milled about to the north.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

There was a long thin line of light over the horizon like a narrow window of hope.

The light reflected on the sea giving it an unusual glow.
It was a silver light, not the gold of this morning's light.
If you can't have gold then silver is the next best thing.

They headed up to
Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Afternoon Mate."
he patted
THE
stone and placed the heart-shaped stone from this mornings visit on to the stack.

 Back to the van.
Beach Buoy made coffee, drank coffee, pulled up his hood, rested his head on an arm and slept.
Another Dog woke him, sniffing for biscuits.

BEACH BUOY.
