SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 21 NOV.2021.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park

 at 7-23 a.m.

They had passed Dottie Dog on the way there.

Beach Buoy had finally found sleep after two nights of almost none at all.

The Golf Club flag had fluttered in a strong north westerly breeze as they had passed.

It felt as if the breeze had arrived via Reykjavik.

It was chilly.

The tide looked quite high.

The sea looked quite rough.

Gulls dotted the water's edge.

Beach Buoy pulled up two hoods.

Up above the dunes, the Moon was covering for the Sun who had just rang in sick.

The beach combing Border Collie owning couple were up ahead.

Their dog is out there somewhere chasing Gulls.

Beach Buoy gathered beach stones.

They made their way unto

Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."

Stones were placed.

THE

stone was patted.

Beach Buoy stood drinking coffee.

Thankfully he had brought a thermal cup of coffee along.

The warm drink help to keep the chill at bay.

Another Dog climbed onto the stack to have a better view of the sea and maybe to see if the rumours about the Seaton Carew Sea Serpent were indeed true?

"See you Mate."

They headed back to the beach.

Beach Buoy wondered if Stubborn Dog knew that they come to see him?

The Sun had a brief look from under the duvet, before disappearing  once more.

They began a slow walk back into the wind.

Mr Gunn / Nunn passed at a distance and waved.

Beach Buoy waved back.

But .......

Mr Gunn/ Nunn's dog was trotting over.

He had never done so before.

"Alfie!"

"Alfie!"

The old dog had noticed something different about Another Dog today.

Beach Buoy gave the old dog a shoulder scratch

as

Alfie sniffed and sniffed at Another Dog.

Eventually they headed in opposite directions.

Clouds hung over the village.

There was Stubborn Dog looking down.

He did know after all.

They headed back to the van.

Sanctuary.

The cold wind whistled around.

Warm Coffee warmed chilly bones.

Brave Little People ventured along the promenade wall.

Brave thing to do in the strong cold breeze.

Headwind.

BEACH BUOY.
