SUNDAY 07 NOV. 2021. SEATON SANDS. AN AFTERNOON VISIT.

It was 1-40 p.m.

A bit too late to be driving an hour or so for another beach, so Seaton Sands it was.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog sat in the van.

The van rocked in the strong wind.

Windswept and interesting walkers strolled along the Promenade.

A reluctant looking lady braved the wind as her husband / partner faffed on with his metal detector, preparing to head down to the windy beach.

As they both headed down the access ramp to the sands,

Beach Buoy could almost hear her say,

"Can't even find his bloody car keys, never mind anything else!"

The treasure hunters headed south.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog headed towards the sea.

The sea headed towards Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog; the tide was coming in.

The Dogs had a mad five minutes.

Stubborn Dog and Borrowed used to, back in the day.

😞

Beach Buoy beach cleaned a Scooby Doo Ball that rolled in off the sea.

Where it came from is a complete mystery?

They headed up to

Stubborn Dog Stack

for the second time today.

"Afternoon Mate."

he patted

THE

stone.

He added a few more beach stones.

Beach Buoy watched as a Blue and White Ship aimed itself at the gap between the two  Gares.

"See you mate."

They headed back to the beach.

The treasure hunters were heading back as the man scanned the dune edge.

Beach Buoy searched the shingle on the way back.

He found what looked like a set of feeler gauges.

They cleaned up well later.
Please see below.

They found what must be the most Middlesbrough of all bricks?

Ahead, two ladies headed north.

One kept squatting to take photographs with one hand as she held a cup of coffee in the other.

Her friend just strolled along.

She was carrying a plastic bag that was overflowing with Marram Grass from the dunes.

Time to go.
