SEATON SANDS, SEATON CAREW, HARTLEPOOL, 05 JAN. 2020.

Their usual Car Park was closed for the day.
They headed North a little to the Rock Shop Car park, passing street lights with illuminated Christmas lights attached.
They arrived at 7-38 a.m.; it was still dark.

It was a different access ramp today.

The Bay was dark.

The two containers to the front are the Life Guard Station.
The White building behind the containers, with the bay window was the Rocket House; used to store the Rocket Apparatus Equipment for life saving. It later became a Police Station and later a First Aid Post.

East.

North.

West.

South.
The 7 a.m. club and an undercover dog-less man approach.

The tide was a fair way out.

The Sea was rough.

After a a Dune visit they headed to the Grey Rocks for a sit and think.
Stubborn Dog wouldn't sit.

The wind was blowing the tops off the breaking waves.
They looked like good surfing waves.
(For around these parts at least.)

He finally gave in and sat.

It was a relaxing sit and think.

It was a quiet beach.
The sea would soon claim the sand; blocking beach access to the North Gare Pier.

They headed back..... after a struggle.

and another struggle.

The light changed as they headed back.

Beach Buoy stood on the wet sand to try and take a reflected photograph

The Sea almost caught him out.
They headed back to the van.

The light was gorgeous.
It was a mild morning.
For a short while, it was a Summers Day.

Later that day, Beach Buoy was travelling back into the village.
The sky over the bay looked beautiful, as people walked the promenade.

Some even walked dogs that weren't stubborn!
