SEATON SANDS , HARTLEPOOL. 08 JAN.2020.

It was 3-50 pm.
It was a milky, mild and still afternoon.

(3-50pm; yes that's still afternoon.)
There was a busy family up on the dune edge.
They had a dog and later, a bonfire.

Beach Buoy and his Stubborn Mate headed South on the sea coal scattered beach, passing a Metal Detectorist as they did so.

A Cormorant rose from the sea, looking like a black coat hanger; it later headed towards the River, looking for a shirt to hang.

There was a slight breeze from the West, down at the South end of the beach.
The beach was quiet as they left.
The bonfire family were still there as the sky grew dark and the fire glowed more brightly.

BEACH BUOY.
