18, JULY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 💔💔
God bless.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 6-18 a.m.

A man stood on the dune heights, taking photographs.

The lady who once fell off her bike walked the Esplanade with her companion.
They passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
They were all wearing summer shorts but winter coats.
It was breezy.

The tide was high.
The sea was rough.
The strong breeze was coming from the north.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple arrived.
In no time at all, they took the lead.

Ahead of them was another sea glass collector.
A lady who recently began showing up at the beach.
She has a dog like TV's Ted.
If Beach Buoy recalled correctly it is called Ted too.
Yes.
"Ted the terrible."

She passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
... and away.

To the north someone and his dogs squeezed by the dog ban sign and the sea.

Before long all of the beachcombers were to the north.

Black-headed Gull.

South Gare was taking a bit of a thumping.
It's light flashed .
Daylight or not.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.

He selected two sturdy stones.
They were added to the sea defence.

Up the small slope.

Another stone had been added to the stack.
Excellent.
All are welcome.
Beach Buoy will bring the spray varnish for it soon,

"Morning Mate."
It was 7 a.m.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added the five new suitable arrivals.

The wildlife water bowl was empty.

He topped it up.
He scattered some seeds for the birds.
He had a sit and a think on the driftwood sear with an elevated view.

He sat watching the white sea foam attempt to cross the grey rocks.

A number of Black-headed Gulls were in and around the water's edge.

"See you mate."
Moments later a Crow went to Stubborn Dog Stack.

Seaton Carew from the dunes.

The couple who aren't mentioned in the blog much passed by, heading north.
Here they are being mentioned once more.
With an additional photographic appearance too.

No Sand Martins or Skylarks today.
The Little Terns still chattered.

They headed back to the Esplanade.
Dylan's mam gave a distant wave.

On the access ramp, a lady asked if there were any horses on the beach.
There weren't.
Her dog didn't like horses.

God Bless.
Paul.
