Friday.
It was 5-16 a.m.
A VW camera was parked nearby.
Its owner, a paddleboarder, was about to head to the beach.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The days of the "Big Belly Bin." were over.
Replaced by one with less moving parts.
Someone has camped on the north end of the dunes.
Another sunny start to the day.
Seaton Carew.
They headed down towards the sea.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
They headed south.
The Paddleboarder headed to the sea.
The tide was a canny way out.
He reached the sea.
The sea reached him.
Cuts in the sand, like scale model cliffs.
Could be the sign of an earlier riptide?
The Paddleboarder made his way towards the sea serpent marker.
It was a glorious morning.
Beach Buoy waited for Team One Black Ear to catch up.
They chatted.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
He collected two sturdy stones for the sea defence effort.
Up the small slope.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-01 a.m.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He scattered seeds for the birds.
He had a sit and think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
A Magpie sat on a near by vantage point.
"See you mate."
Back to the low level route and the beach beyond.
Beach Buoy stopped to one half of Team Muzzled Dog.
The Council Tractor trundled north.
Off into the distance.
Because.
Because.
Because...
Scum.
Today's beach clean.
The dune end tent.
The Paddleboarder's lovely VW.
🧡
Paul.
