12, JULY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Sunday.
Sunny day.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 6-18 a.m.
The Little Terns were chattering.
They headed for the beach.
There was no one around.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

There was a blowy breeze from the north east.

The tide was out as far as the Seaton Carew Wreck.

Once they were on the tidal sand, the headed south.
The sand was unmarked apart from one group of prints.
He recognised them as Team One Black Ear's.
One man and two dogs.
He could see the swirling skid marks where Milo had caught up with a thrown ball.
He could see the route of their journey south then back north.

He found a ball
Red and Yellow.
A Scooby-Doo ball.
He placed it in his beach bag.
He would pass it on.

The early morning Sun was begining to feel hotter.
The breeze from the north east felt perfect.

A helium balloon.
Beach Buoy burst it.
He placed it in his beach bag.

A young lady with a backpack headed south along the the strand-line towards North Gare Pier.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the low level route.

He collected two sturdy stones.

He placed the on the sea defence.

Up the small slope.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-52.
He added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered seeds for the birds to enjoy later.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.
He had a sit and think.
Another dog sat on the dune sand, sniffing at the sea air.

There worse places to be.

The warmth of the Sun

The cool of the breeze

The touch of the dune grass

Brushing your knees

The crunch of the shingle,

The smooth of the sand

The tug of a Dog's lead

Held in your hand.

Today's beachclean.

Horses and Ponies headed to the sea.
