Tuesday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 6-15.
The lady who once fell off her bike went south then north with four for company.
Team One Black Ear had just reached the top of the beach access ramp.
Beach walk done.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog were about to start theirs.
They chatted.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the tidal sand, beyond the strand-line.
He collected five suitable stones as they did so.
They headed south, between the sea and the strand-line.
One hood went up.
There was a strong fresh breeze from the north.
The was as far in as it was out.
They walked under an overcast sky.
To the north, Beach Buoy could see that the lady who walks the full length of the beach was making good progress as she headed south too.
By the time that Beach Buoy and Another Dog made their way to the low level route, she was in distant waving distance.
Sensing this perhaps, they both shared distant waves.
Beach Buoy collected two Sturdy Stones.
He placed them onto the sea defence pile.
They climbed the small slope.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-57.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.
Some bad been taken since their visit last night.
He scattered some seeds for the birds.
Beach Buoy had brought some varnish spray.
He sprayed some recent and even newer additions to Stubborn Dog Stack
They had a sit and a think.
"See you mate."
They had hardly reached the low level route before a Magpie appeared.
It turned mid flight.
It would wait.
The Crows are different.
They would land on a giant pencil before going vocal.
It always felt like they were saying
"Thank you."
They headed back.
The tide was making its way out.
A ray of sunshine seemed to make one particular Wind Turbine, the star of the show.
Up on the Esplanade, Beach Buoy chatted to two thirds of Team Mick Aston Jumper.
The person who walks the car park perimeter, did so.
Paul.
