23 FEBRUARY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Monday 23, February.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog parked in Sandy Car Park at 6-54 a.m.

Sunrise was 7-09.

A Jogger with a Pony tail trotted to the south end of the Esplanade.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The 7 a.m. club were to the south.
Crows for company thanks to scattered cat treats.

Beach Buoy caught up.

They chatted as the Sun came up and a Parcel of none Oyster Catchers flew overhead.

A couple had brought a child to see the sunrise.

A couple sat on the dune heights taking photographs of the sunrise.

Beach Buoy sat at the base of the dunes to let them take Beach Buoy free photographs.

The couple took a selfie with the Sun for company.

Time to stand up.

They continued to make their way south.

To the North, sea front windows reflected the morning Sun.

They walked the low level route.
Beach Buoy placed two sturdy stones at the base of the small slope.

"Morning Mate."
7-36.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered seeds for the Crows.

Another Dog would have quite happily returned immediately to the beach.
They stayed.
Beach Buoy sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
He could feel the heat of the Sun on his right cheek as he looked out to sea.
There no waves.
The sea was just rippled by the breeze.

Beach Buoy stood for a while.

He scattered some seeds for the Crows.

"See you mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
Team Muzzled Dog passed up on the dune edge.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Back to the beach.

Beach Buoy stopped to chat to the Sunderland Supporter.

After the chat he and Another Dog continued north.

He chatted to Mr.Gunn/Lunn.

A lady passed by with the Happiest Brown Spaniel .

It's tail must have been set to "Full wag."

One happy dog.

They carried on to the north.

Sunshine Shadows came too.

They walked North, beyond the access ramp.
Up some stairs near to the Clock Tower.

Back along The Esplanade.

The Village Church Bells sounded out for 8 a.m.

A Gull sat on the top of The Clock Tower, oblivious to the fact that it showed an  incorrect time.

BEACH BUOY.
