16, FEB 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Monday morning.
It was a cold start to the day.
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog had parked in Seaton Park.
They passed a man with his dog on the access ramp at the beach huts.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Weather a bit better."
"Aye."
They reached the beach at 8-38 a.m.
A light breeze blew.

A smartly dressed lady walked her small dog to the north.
She had a massively long dog lead.
She held coils of it in her left hand.
Sea swimmers in long robes were stood by the steps.

Beach Buoy and the dogs headed south.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

They headed to the wreck.
The tide was well out.

Tees Pilot Boat.

The wreck today.

A Ship left the river.
The Pilot boat followed.
A Pilot will be in charge of the larger vessel, guiding it safely out to sea.

Beach Buoy provided breakfast with the Captain for the Crows at the wreck.

The Sea Serpent.

Out on the horizon, another ship headed to the river.

Beach Buoy and the dogs headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

He placed two sturdy stones at the base of the small slope.

Someone had added a stone.

"Morning Mate."
it was 9-18.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

The was warmth in the sunlight.
The breeze that blew was light.

He stood watching the Ship head into the river.

"See you mate."

He scattered some seeds for the absent Crows.

They continued south, along the dune edge.

They carefully crossed the grey rocks to reach the tank traps.

The recent rough seas had exposed lots of shingle.
He was hopeful of finds.

Jackpot!

A Sea Alley.
First one for a long time.

They headed back with their treasure that was both worthless and priceless.

The tide was coming back in.

A lady walked south along the strandliine with a coffee.
She almost held it aloft like it was a recently won award.

A Silver Sun turned lemon.
Faint citrus-touched sunshine shadows appeared.

BEACH BUOY.
