Sunday morning.
High tide was at 06-40.
Sunrise was at 7-11.
It was 7-10 when Beach Buoy and Another Dog parked up in Seaton Park.
Clouds had claimed the sunrise.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones as they made their way to the water's edge.
Once there, he stopped to chat to the 7 a.m. club.
Chat over, the 7 a.m. club headed north, scattering cat treats for the Crow as he walked.
A lady with a Spaniel walked the water's edge.
It was mild for a February morning, ten degrees.
They continued southwards.
A lady with a Labrador and a Border Collie led the way.
As the tide went out it left temporary sand bank islands..
The Sea Serpent.
They made their way to the low level route.
The first Skylark of the year sang high above the dunes.
Beach Buoy selected two sturdy stones to add to the sea defence.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-46.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones to the stack.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds for the Crows.
Someone had made use of the donated paint pots.
Beach Buoy had a sit and think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
He looked across to the hills at their own private
"Sycamore Gap."
To be honest he wasn't sure what type of tree it was.
He sat listening to the sea and the Skylark.
The bird sounded like it was directly above them.
He looked but they can be difficult to see.
The sea wasn't rough as such but it hit the grey rocks below with a thump.
There was a second or two of silence after each thump.
At 7-54 the Sun broke through the clouds.
Team Muzzled Dog arrived at Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy mentioned the Skylark song.
They said that they had seen one on the ground on Tuesday.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.
Team Muzzled Dog continued south on their usual route.
The beach was wider now.
The tide had revealed more sand on which to walk.
A tall man and a shorter lady walked south along the low level route.
The best of places.
They made their way back to the north.
Two kids and a dog played at the water's edge.
It was good to see others enjoy the beach today.
They made their way to the beach access ramp as others began their walks.
Horserider.
Beach Buoy made their way to the Esplanade.
Overhead a Parcel of passing Oyster Catchers seemed to pipe them aboard.
Beach Buoy placed Another Dog, Ruby on the Esplanade wall.
Look how happy she was...
Mr.Gunn/Lunn came along with Excellent Dog Alfie.
Alfie sniffed around as they chatted.
BEACH BUOY.
