Another wore a scarf that looked like a twisting battenburg cake.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog became another carriage on the train of people heading north.
Two people walked the dune heights, holding their phones as if they were compasses.
Beach Buoy clicked the compass app on his phone.
He headed for the beach access ramp at 282 degrees west.
