| It was 7 pm Spots of rain fell. A couple of couples headed North. Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed for the South. |

| The tide was well out. |

| The beach was sandy to the North. |
 |
| It was more of a shingle beach down at the south end. Beach Buoy paused for a short while, looking at the sea. He tried to analyse why we find comfort from looking at a constantly changing sea and sky. A little like looking into the flames of a fire. |

| As he headed back, Beach Buoy took photographs of some posts someone had erected in the sands. |
