SEATON SANDS , HARTLEPOOL 14 MARCH 2019.

Beach Buoy and two dogs hit the beach at 4-15pm
As they left the car park for the beach, a Land Rover pulled up on a grassy mound at the side, it stayed a while and rushed off splashing through a tarmac edged puddle... money well spent.

The sun was as bright as a button.
The sky was blue with some cloud.
The clouds weren't snow white, they had touches of grey slush.

They made tracks in a southerly direction.
The tide was well out.
A nice wide beach meant plenty of space for dogs and people.

Looking back at the north, there was shifting sand, blown by the strong wind.
Today the shifting sands were flowing in defined paths and patterns, so it was possible to navigate around them for the sake of the low-lying dogs.
The sea wasn't wild but any waves that did pop their head up were shot down by the snipper wind.
Many seagulls had chosen to bob up and down on the sea rather that tire themselves trying to fly in the wind.
Some were flying, out by the sea serpent as they fed on its left-overs.

When they reached the grey rocks, a large black cloud appeared and the temperature dropped suddenly.
They turned back to walk into a now cold head wind.

The sand was patterned  by the day's weather, and tides.
It was a fairly quiet beach.
A spaniel did go by with its
owner.
The dog was on tail wag warp factor ten.

The sun returned towards the end of the walk as the black cloud moved on.
The sunlight came running along the beach like a long lost friend.

BEACH BUOY.

and finally...
the other night the beach was way too windy for the dogs
so we strolled the promenade...
