SEATON SANDS 04 MARCH 2019.

It had been a work day.
Beach Buoy went for the dogs and headed to the beach.
It had been very windy; it had calmed to a strong
breeze.

 As
they drove to the beach they saw a lady on her driveway.
She had put something in her car and wanted to check that the house front door was locked. The car was near the front door, maybe three steps away; no more than that.
Instead of walking three steps, the lady took one step, then with the grace of a ballerina she stretched an arm out to reach the front door handle whilst using a leg as a counter- balance. She made a perfect T shape as she elegantly reassured herself about the home's security.
He drove on to the T-Junction down near the golf club.
He waited and waited as a line of cars drove into Seaton Carew that was as long as a freight train.

They pulled into the car park around 4-10 pm.

A line of terns were stood on the fence trying to balance in the strong breeze, they gave in eventually and
flew off... in turn.

They headed down the access ramp as the church bells rang for 4-15 pm.
The destination was the water's edge.
It was more of a walk on a badly cobbled
street than a beach as so much of the top covering soft sand had gone to sea leaving behind a collection of stones and rocks of most sizes and of all colours.

It looked like it had been high tide around 1 or 2 hours earlier.
The tide was going out.

Beach Buoy was heading south.
A dog-less couple came from the North.
They were very well wrapped up.
Mr and Mrs Nanook of the North ?

The temperature did seem to drop a little as the wind picked up slightly.

The sky out at sea was a glorious pale blue.
In complete contrast, inland, behind the sand dunes, it seemed the clouds were plotting to see how many shades of grey it would take to make a black cloud.
The beach to the south was much more sandy.
The only footprints were "The Nanook's." and Beach Buoy's.
By the looks of it, one the Nanooks must have been wearing snow shoes if footprint size was anything to go on!

They stopped at the grey rocks.
The sea serpent was three humps today.
Behind the serpent the wind turbines turned and the sea rolled in.

Beach Buoy went up into the dunes to see what he could see.

They headed back in the dunes for a short while.
Then it was back to the beach.

In the distance he could see a couple walking; they both were wearing red coats.
Oddly, a few
hundred  metres behind them there was another couple, both in red coats.

"Butlins on a scouting mission? thought Beach Buoy.

The first couple then became romantic and hugged each other by the water's edge.
The second couple turned back to the north and headed off....
"To Tell Head Office."
or maybe not.....
BEACH BUOY.
