ST.MARY'S ISLAND AND WHITLEY BAY. 28-03-16. Beach No.18 and 19 out of a target of 52 for the year.

A COLD GREY WINDY DAY... THE VIEW SOUTH FROM ST.MARY'S CAUSEWAY.

THE LIGHTHOUSE FROM THE CAUSEWAY.

THE TIDE WAS ON THE WAY IN.

MOORED.

AN OLD MOORING POINT AMONGST THE ROCKS.

ST. MARY'S LIGHTHOUSE.

THERE  IS A SEAL ON THE ROCKS... CAN YOU SPOT IT?
A LADY WAS KEEPING PEOPLE AT A DISTANCE FROM THE SEALS AND GUIDING THEM TO AN AREA WITH A BETTER VIEW; THERE WAS ANOTHER 12 OR SO FURTHER ROUND ON THE ISLAND.

THE SMALL BEACH TO THE NORTH OF THE LIGHTHOUSE.

SOME OF THE FAMILY ON A ROCK POOL HUNT; IT WAS VERY COLD.

THE CAUSEWAY WALKERS VIEWED FORM THE NORTH.

WE TRAVELLED TO WHITLEY BAY BEACH IN SEARCH OF SAND AND CHIPS!

THE VIEW NORTH WITH ST. MARY'S ISLAND IN THE DISTANCE.

AND SOUTH... IMPROVEMENTS ARE BEING MADE TO THE PROMENADE AND SO BEACH ACCESS WAS LIMITED; HOPEFULLY ALL WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE SUMMER,

LOVE THE SEA.

COMBINED BEACH CLEAN WITH GLASS AND POT FINDS.

GLASS HEART.... BUT AREN'T THEY ALL?

BEACH BUOY.
