SEATON SANDS, 7 MARCH 2016.... AN AFTER WORK WALK...

I  AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO LIVE AND WORK
NEAR THE SEA. I GO TO THE BEACH WHEN I CAN.
TODAY AS I DROVE FROM WORK, I COULD SEE THE WAVES ROLLING IN. IT WAS TIME TO GET THE DOGS AND GO.
FOR YEARS I WORKED UNTIL 6P.M. NOW WE FINISH AT 3-30. SO THE WINTER SEEMS SO MUCH SHORTER AND SOME NIGHTS; NOT ALL NIGHTS, I CAN HEAD FOR THE SEA.

IT WAS A BRIGHT BUT COLD AFTERNOON. IT LOOKED LIKE THE TIDE HAD TURNED AN HOUR OR SO EARLIER AND WAS ON THE WAY OUT.

HARTLEPOOL'S HEADLAND WAS CATCHING THE LIGHT OF THE SUN FROM TIME TO TIME. SOMETIMES MAYBE JUST A HOUSE OR TWO BATHED IN THE SUN'S SPOTLIGHT  THEN... GONE LIKE THE WINNER OF A TV TALENT SHOW.

LOTS OF SEA FOAM AGAIN TODAY;
NOT A DIRTY POLLUTED TYPE FOAM;
JUST SEA FOAM.

IT WASN'T MUCH OF A DAY FOR FINDS.
I COULD TELL IMMEDIATELY.
THERE WAS NO GRAVEL AS SUCH, THE SEA HAD
CHOSEN TO  BLANKET THE BEACH IN AN EVEN LAYER OF FINE GRAVEL OR ROUGH SAND.
NO ROUGH GRAVEL STRIPS TO SEARCH.
I ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE SEA'S SOUND TRACK AS I SCOUR THE BEACH FOR FINDS...
..... MAYBE TODAY I WOULD WATCH THE FILM AS WELL.

SEATON CAREW LOOKED
FANTASTIC IN THE DISTANCE.

WE WALKED AS FAR AS THE MOUND OF GREY ROCKS IN THE DISTANCE AND THEN HEADED BACK.

BEACH CLEAN.

POOR AMOUNT AND QUALITY OF FINDS.
MORE BROKEN BOTTLE THAN SEA GLASS.

BEACH BUOY.
