20, JUNE 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Saturday morning.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 6-05.

It felt late.

A lady sea swimmer headed back to her car.

Dip done.

A Cyclist turned at the southern end of the Esplanade.

He returned to the north.

"Morning." said Beach Buoy.

The Cyclist passed by, unaware of the greeting.

His head was full of tinny earphone music, loud enough that Beach Buoy could hear it.

There was lots of blue sky but clouds too.

The downside was that the cloud had claimed the Sun.

They headed to the beach.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
A Ship approached the mouth of the River Tees.

The tide was well in.
A breeze blew from the west.

They headed south

Little Terns travelled alongside, dropping into the sea every now and then.

It sometimes pays to stop and just look at the sea.
It helps you remember.
It helps you to forget.

Team One Black Ear were to the south.
They stopped to chat.
All was good.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of Hugo, the Dog with One Black Ear.

They continued south.

Another Dog went on strike.

No particular reason.

Maybe just to twist Beach Buoy's back yet another time?

It actually feels personal at times.

A lady was sea glass collecting.

She had a small black dog on a lead.

From a distance, Beach Buoy thought that it looked like Ted, the dog off Mortimer and Whitehouse fishing programme.

"Morning."

"Morning, come on Ted?"

"He's called Ted?"

"Yes. Ted the terrible."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.

He gathered and placed two Sturdy Stones on the Sea Defence.

They climbed the small slope.

Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds for the Crows.
He sat on  the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
Another Dog laid down on the dune sand.

Sit and think time.
Just watch the sea sparkle.

Stubborn Dog Stack.

Beach Buoy had stood to have a check around.
The Beachcombing Border Collie has been and were going.

The north, towards Seaton Carew.

South to North Gare Pier.

Magpie.
The Magpies are often in Dunes.
They stand on the Sea Buckthorn bushes machine gunning at one another.
That is what it sounds like to Beach Buoy.

"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
Beach Buoy would have continued southwards but hay fever eyes were saying go back.
Swooping Sand Martins worked the dunes edge heights.

One of the stack posts as seen from the low level route.

Beach Buoy collected nine but had to leave these.

.
Beach Buoy paused.
9 Cylinders were heavy.
Another Dog was no help.
She was almost anti-beach clean.
She pulled her lead out to full length.

The water's edge was busy for so early on a morning.

Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie came over for a chat.
They were heading south.

Beach Buoy reached the Esplanade.

Beach clean.

9 Nitrous Oxide Cylinders.

3 Glass bottles

4 cans.

Touch and hold a clip to pin it. Unpinned clips will be deleted after 1 hour.

Beach bag wash day.

BEACH BUOY.
