SEATON SANDS,HARTLEPOOL. 13,NOVEMBER 2025.

 Thursday morning.

It had rained all night.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-41.

The Car Park was flooded.

Orange lights and white vans signalled work underway to resolve the issue.

As Beach Buoy photographed the scene, he realised that he could see the northern lights.

So the next few photographs are just of the flood and the northern lights.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.

He collected five suitable stones.

He could see that the 7 a.m. club were heading south.
He headed south too.
He knew that the 7 a.m. club would turn back soon.

He took more photographs of the lights as he and Another Dog continued south.

Again...

The 7 a.m. club turned back.
"Have you seen the northern lights?"
They hadn't.
There was much merriment.
They chatted about the scene.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south.
Beach Buoy was really keen to capture at least some of the northern lights up at Stubborn Dog Stack,
He ran, repeat ran to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Daylight was coming.
It might be the only time he will be around to see it up with Stubborn Dog.

Heading South.

It was fading.
Run.
Run.

Along the low level route.

"Morning Mate."
The lights were faint but they were there.

It'll do.

It WAS Brakesy yesterday.
A new painted stone had arrived.
Beach Buoy made a mental note of the size and the shape of the stone that was resting on the person's lap as they chatted.
Thanks Brakesy.

Beach Buoy added five more stones.
They were suitable but not as decorated.
He patted
THE
stone.

He had a sit and think on a driftwood seat with an elevated view.
It had been an exciting couple of days.

Drizzle came.
"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.

As clear as day, there was Bankesy's seat.
Painting and sharing a Picnic with a Crow.
Wonderful.

Team One Black Ear were up ahead .
They turned back to chat.
They finished their beach walk together.

Much merriment.

The flood.
