Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 6-30 a.m.
It was raining.
Scruffy's man and the lady with a greyhound were walking the Esplanade.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
They headed to the sea.
The 7 a.m. club were heading back to the south.
They stopped to chat as Gulls rafted in the bay.
Team One Black Ear headed back north.
They stopped to chat too as Little Terns dropped silently into the sea.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 7 a.m.
They had a sit and think.
The rain had stopped.
The Silver Sun broke through.
Beach Buoy sat watching what he believes to be a Minke Whale .
It surfaced three times.
A long curving back came and went slowly.
Too large and slow to be a dolphin or a seal.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
They were joined by half of Team Muzzled Dog.
They walked and talked their way all of the way back to the car park.
