21, JUNE 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 3-42 a.m.
Sat on garden swing with Another Dog.
Not one minute of sleep.
Too hot.
Summer Solstice Sunrise just before
4-30
Beach calling...

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach car park at 4-09 a.m.
The Little Tern Warden was wandering up the beach access ramp.

A man and his dog walked to the dune edge.
They sat, waiting.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog went to the water's edge.

4-23.
The Sun began to show.

Summer Solstice Sea Swimmers stepped into the sea.
A wonderful breeze blew from the south.

It was an almost perfect moment.

Shoes came off.

A Summer Solstice stand in the sea as the Sun came up.

Summer Solstice at sea.

By 4-33, the Sun was clear of the horizon.

A good day.

The Sea Swimmers were sharing a wonderful morning.

The horizon wore low cloud as if it were a belt.
It claimed the Sun for a while.

5-07.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

They sat a while.
A Ladybird shared the view.

Footman Moth.
After the photograph was taken it hopped onto Beach Buoy's Phone.
It seemed to stand and just looked at him.
Then it was gone.

Beach Buoy topped up the wildlife water bowl.

"See you mate."
They continued south.

Skylarks and Sand Martins.

White Butterflies.
Black Butterflies with brown edges.

5-34.
They had a sit and think.
Beach Buoy had brought coffee.
He offered Another Dog water from a pop up bowl.
Nope.

One of those days when you could just sit all day long.

He didn't.
He stood, looking out to sea.
He turned to see a large group of Sand Martins.
He just left he phone in his pocket and enjoyed the scene.
Four flew by together, almost within touching distance.

They headed back.

They stopped to chat to the 7 a.m. club.
It was a two dog day.
He had been one of the sea swimmers.
He informed Beach Buoy that sixty sea swimmers had taken part.

Beach Buoy headed to the dunes to do a beach-clean.
It was beach party season.

He found a rucksack and a plastic bag.
He filled them
34 glass bottles.
4 cans.
1 vape.

He chatted to Team One Black Ear.
He was doing a beach-clean too.
