SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 13, JUNE 2025.

Friday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-26 a.m.
Scruffy's mam and the Greyhound lady were walking the Esplanade.
"Morning."
"Morning."

They headed to the sea.
It was a short walk, the tide was well in.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones as they walked.

The view north.
There was a light breeze from the south west.
It was already as warm as noon.

They headed south along the water's a.m. club came from the south with a guest.
Greetings were exchanged.

They headed towards the low level route.
Wabbits!
The wabbit prints were all around.
Beach Buoy was delighted to see that a set ran up the small slope that leads to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Stubborn Dog had company.
It pleased him more than anyone would think.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He had a sit and think.
The light breeze that crossed the dunes was so pleasant.
An unheard factory buzzer blew down river at 7.

Ruby had a sit and think too.

Counting blessings.
Don't let anyone say that Beach Buoy took anything for granted.
No flameproof overalls.
No hard hat.
No safety boots.
No safety glasses.
No ear plugs.
No safety gloves.
No flames.
No sparks.
No noise.
No dust.

The breeze blew.
The sea sparkled.
Beach Buoy gave out the biggest of sighs.
He wished that his mate Geoff could
feel the breeze,
see the sparkling sea,
feel the heat of the Sun and hear the waves break.

Beach Buoy stood.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.

The rusting Oil Rig to the west.
They returned to the beach below.

They returned to the north.
They chatted to Team Muzzled Dog.

Beach Buoy carried on northwards.

Dolphins in the distance were heading north too.

Mr. Gunn/Lunn came along.
Excellent Dog Alfie was alongside.
Although it wasn't Thursday, Basil the borrowed dog was there too.

The sea.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the Esplanade.
He chatted to one third of Team Mick Aston Jumper.
He made a fuss of the twelve year old Pug.
Beach Buoy likes dogs.
Most dogs like Beach Buoy.

Beach Buoy sat in the van.
He watched as a Hartlepool fishing boat bobbed in the bay.
He had hoped to see the Dolphins once more.

Sometimes things that were here are gone for good.

BEACH BUOY.
