BEACH BUOY.

30, JUNE 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-40 a.m.
The person who walks the perimeter of the car park with headphones on did so.

The tide was high.

The 7 a.m. club were already well to the north.

Off for their sea swim.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were already heading home.

They headed to the sea.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
He chatted to Team One Black Ear.

Strands of Squid eggs.

They were returned to deeper water.

A warm gentle breeze blew.

The sunlight was coming and going as clouds passed by.

The Wind Turbine Vessel could be seen travelling down the river.

Beach Buoy paused on the low level route to watch it leave the river mouth.

7-10
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Someone had used a black marker to write message on some stack stones.
It was OK but felt a little like a takeover bid for the stack and its meaning,

A more colourful stone had been added.

Beach Buoy topped up the wildlife water bowl after rearranging the set up.
Someone had been faffing.

He had a stand and think.
He realised how much the stack meant to him.
He was a little chewed.
"See you mate."

They returned to the beach below.
The Vessel headed out into open water.

They headed back alongside the water's edge.
A couple with a small dog headed south.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Off into the distance.

They approached the end of the dunes.

A paddle boarder paddled close to the water's edge.

Little Terns filled the air.

SMALL WORLD.

Dad.
Taken and filtered from the photograph below.

Beach Buoy took the photograph.
It was around 1974.
The location was the Cabins at Middleton, Hartlepool.
It was taken before a fishing trip

At the time the Cabins were dotted around Middleton Basin.
Much of the area is just a car park now for some of the Marina Apartments.

Small world?
Beach Buoy walks the beach at nearby Seaton Carew on a regular basis.
Beach folk chat.
Many are easy to get on with.

One of the people that Beach Buoy sometimes walks and talks to is a man who once had a Beagle but now has a Spaniel.
During a walk and talk, Beach Buoy realised that the man's Father was a good friend of Beach Buoy's Dad.

Beach Buoy remembered him too.
That's him on the right of the photograph.
Harry.
Harry is still alive.
83 now not 31.
Then again Beach Buoy isn't 15 going on 16...

They went on to explain that they South Gare Pier fishermen.
They wanted to know how to reach North Gare Pier, wanting to try their luck there for the first time.
Beach Buoy pointed them in the right direction.
"Cheers Mate."

It was a gorgeous calm day.

The sea was calm too.
It almost looked like glass.
The tide was well in.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

Seaton Carew.

The 7 a.m. club were heading back bto the Village.
They chatted.
Beach Buoy was informed of a newspaper article.

Beach Buoy and Another went south.

Team One Black Ear were walking in the sea, heading south.
They chatted before going their own way.

A young lady in a white shirt and a flamboyant hat was litter picking her way along the beach.
"Morning."
"Morning."
A large amber-coloured insect flew nearby.
Beach Buoy held his phone out flat.
The insect landed on its if were a tiny helipad.
A magic moment.
It took flight.

A man with no dog passed by.
”Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-15.
The Sun was already hot.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He had a sit and think.
It was so calm and calming.
No welding.
No grinding.
No burning.

Saturday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the  beach at 6-36.
The sound of chattering Little Tens filled the air.

A warm wind blew from the west.

Rain seemed to be falling out on the horizon?
Gannets flew close to the sea.

To the north, a wooden post had been stood upright in the sand.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
He stopped to chat to the 7 a.m. club.
Warm wind and Gannets the topics of the day.

Team One Black were heading back to the north.
Shoes off, ankle deep in the sea.

They chatted.

The tide was well in, just turned.
The sea was heading out.
It left a blank canvas for them to write their footprint story on.
Little Terns worked the water's edge.

Grass and shadow on the low level route.
Sand Martins swooped overhead.

Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate.”
It was 7-12.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood plank with plenty of rust.

The bay was full of summer.

Rubes.

Gulls rafted.
Gannets soared and swooped.

He sat watching the ripple sea head out into the bay.

Team Muzzled Dog arrived at Stubborn Dog stack.
They had an excellent chat.
Team Muzzled Dog continued south.
Beach Buoy watched Little Terns drop into the sea.

Skylarks sang.

The man with the small black dog, headed south on the beach below.
They shared not too distant waves.
"Morning!"
"Morning. Windy but warm."

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.

Others beach walked as far south as the tide would allow.

Gannet.

 Gannet.

Gannet.

Head back.
Not not Beach Buoy and his little dog headed to The Esplanade just ahead of them.

A Blurry Ringed-Plover.

A Moving Ringed-Plover...
