JUNE 01 2021. SEATON SANDS.

It was 7-56 pm when Beach Buoy reached the beach car park.

Borrowed Dog had come along for the walk.

Beach Buoy was keen to reach the stack.

He'd had a Stubborn Dog wobble when he came in from work.

No stubborn face to greet him.

They headed for the water's edge then south as a group of sea swimmers left the beach.

They may have been the Brass Monkey Group?

A Grandad searched for treasure with the help of a Metal detector and a Grand-daughter.

It was bright and breezy with the breeze off the sea.

A dad wrote in the sand with a stick to the north as a family of three scampered ahead to the south with Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog trailing behind.

A dozen red roses came ashore.

A perfect heart-shaped stone found for the stack.

Borrowed Dog plonked himself right next to his mate.

Not posed.

Not set up.

Beach Buoy put the heart rock in that special place next to the sandstone one found last night.

They stayed a while.

Beach Buoy added some additional stones and again added another larger rock for the outer ring of the stack.

The view north.

Beach Buoy stroked and patted the special rock and struggled to say

"Night night mate." thanks to a choking lump in his throat.

They headed off, looking back from time to time as they did so.

A slow walk back to the van and a lowering Sun.

The clouds were beautiful.

Driftwood.

Rings of a driftwood stump shares the stories of its winters and summers for all to see.

Coffee in van.

Take Borrowed Dog home to his family.
