SEATON SANDS, 19 DEC 2019.

They arrived in the ever-growing Beach Car Park
at 3-30 p.m.; work was still on-going, but all too soon the lack of light would call an end to their working day.
On the way to the beach, they had passed the Golf Club.
Once more the Club's Flag fluttered at half-mast.

The low flapping flag pointed towards the Village.
There was a strong South Westerly wind blowing.

The light was fading.
The tide was well out.
The wind was mild, but typically it brought spots of rain, once Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog started their walk.

But it was OK, everything was cool.

A group of Oyster Catchers were stood down by the water's edge, with their reflections for company. They were facing the wind as if waiting for a Bus to arrive.

A low-flying Cormorant flew (Just about) in a Southerly direction; eventually it gained some height and was off.....
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog shuffled South, called up to the Dunes to do Dune 'Stuff.' then returned to the Beach.

Before heading back Northwards, Beach Buoy surveyed the scene.
To the South there was a distant glow of Orange beyond the Dunes where the industry clung to the riverside.
Ahead, the breaking white waves seemed to be becoming lighter as the grey light faded.
Finally, to the North, the village of Seaton Carew twinkle twinkled like a star.
Soon they were back at the Van.
A quick walk, but a beach walk.

By now it was dark.
4-30 p.m.
BEACH BUOY.
