SEATON SANDS 30 SEPT 2018.

Beach Buoy and Two dogs arrived at 6-50 a.m.
Pink fingers of cloud reached for the Beach.
Two Beach-combing Crows, Crowed

As dawn approached Pink turned  to Lemon.

There was a boat on the Beach.

The Sunrise Ran to meet me,
It met me at the Shore,
But it left me wanting,
Left me wanting more.

The Beach-combing Crows followed Beach Buoy along to the Grey rocks and stood like Bookends.

Beach Buoy loves a Beach Bench.

How Old?

Beach Buoy returned to the Beach at 6-20 p.m.
It was Cold and Sunny; two hoods went up.
Autumn
definitely on the way, the next sunrise would be October.

What do you see?

SEATON SANDS 29 SEPT 2018.

Beach Buoy and stubborn Dog arrived at 6-20 pm.
It was a bright, clear Evening.
There was a brisk  fresh wind from the West.

Beach Buoy doesn't have tiny hands; It was a large Beach-found Badge.

For those watching in Black & White.
The Sky was Pink and the Sea was Metallic Blue.

Perfect piece to sketch at a later date.
Maybe when the Sky is Dark and the wind is blowing?

Sammy Seal ... yup... he ducked.

Recent finds.

SEATON SANDS 28 SEPT. 2018.

Beach Buoy arrived at 6-25 pm with two dogs.
The Evening was in complete contrast to last night's sudden cloud and rain.

Crisp with a bright clear sky.

Horses thundered past.

Ripples.

Driftwood.
Beach Buoy loves the often vibrant colours of pieces like this.
Maybe of boats of years gone by or perhaps an old beach hut?
You just never know.

Part of Beach Buoy's beach clean; an Industrial visor  head piece. Would make a perfect Seal trap...
now in Bin.

Campervan Sunset.

SEATON SANDS 27 SEPTEMBER 2018.

Beach Buoy travels along the Sea front to work. Here  is today's at 7 a.m.
The Sun was just coming up.
It stayed until it was  time to go onto the beach.

It was coming from the North...

25 SEPT. 2018. SEATON CAREW.

It was 7 a.m. Beach Buoy had stopped at the newsagents on the way to work. The Sea and Sand ... and Sun so close.

Fast forward  11 and a half hours... Beach time.
The Buoy had two dogs again tonight. The Sea was still wild but there was a
breeze tonight; a warm one from the West

The Sea had brought shingle but had forgot to stop off at the finds shop; mainly just stones and shells tonight.
A Surfer was doing a good Sammy
impersonation.
It was odd to see a Surfer this far down the Beach.

The Sun began to set, the light changed.......

24 SEPT 2018. SEATON SANDS.

Beach Buoy and two Dogs arrived at 5-05p.m.
It was very sunny, then not sunny then sunny again as a small black cloud tried to hide the Sunlight.
The air was calm but the Sea was wild, wave after wave just rolled in.

Once the waves broke, some of them would run and run up the Beach.

At times there were 6 or 7 "Steps" of Sea.

The evening was stunning.
The air was so calm but the Sea was so wild.

Usually a Rough Sea would bring shingle but tonight it served to just leave a Smooth Sandy Beach.

The Rough Sea also brought Sea Foam.

Beach Buoy came to the Beach a little earlier than usual to make the most of the warm still left in the Sun.

23 SEPT 2018. SEATON SANDS.

Beach Buoy and his little Matey; Stubborn Dog arrived around 6-10 p.m.
It was bright and the sky was mainly clear of clouds.
There were clouds out at  Sea, scattered along the horizon. They looked like some far off lands with Snow Capped Mountains.
Various Beach-goers walked in the bright light with their long shadows for company.

The draining beach trapped water made for some bonny patterns.

Too soon they were heading back.

Too soon the Sun was lowering.....

As he had left the Car Park, Beach Buoy had noticed the Low Pale Moon appearing above the Dunes.
He swung the van round onto the Sea Front to :
A. Watch the Moon come up and watch the Sea.
B. Make a cup of tea.
C. Just to be in the Van.
The moon rose majestically in pastel colours. Beach Buoy stayed there watching until the Drakness framed a Creamy Moon that shone it's light  all of the way across the Sea and straight into Beach Buoy's Van
