27 APRIL 2018, SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.... HE IS ME.

He was a little too tired to walk to the Beach.
He left the house just before 6pm.
By 6-04pm he had pulled up at the now free Car Park.
He had parked in line with the ramp that leads you down to the Beach behind the Promenade wall.
He sat for a while and gathered he thoughts as an impatient Dog sat next to him, waiting.
He looked ahead to see a masculine looking woman light up a cigarette in the strong breeze and head down to the Beach via the concrete ramp.
She launched out of view, leaving a puff of smoke to give away her location.

He had parked with the bright Sun behind him.
A Boxer looking man with a Boxer looking Dog raised a flat hand to his brow to block the Sun and looked towards the Car as if to see who was in the Car. The Boxer walked on a few steps and repeated the scenario as if to double check.

He walked along the Beach with his Dog.
He had brought a warm drink in his battered but eco friendly re-usable cup.
He took time out to sit, drink and think.

The light was lovely this evening and by now the Beach was deserted.

The shingle at The Gare gave up another worthless but priceless gem, he put it eagerly into his Bag.

On the way back he spotted a Squid.
It didn't look well but he was no expert so he carried it down to a nearby Rock Pool, because ...you never know.

The light tempted him away from possible finds up near the strand line  and he headed for the water's edge.
The Sea and a Dog for company, he slowly headed back.

As he walked he thought a lot and continued to try and put the world to rights inside his head as he did so.

Before they left, The Sun put on a stunning light show on some land/sand locked water.

He looked at his Dog as they neared the Car Park.
"Time to go Mate." he said out loud.
"Really!" thought the Dog, silently.

BEACH BUOY.
