SEATON SANDS 26 SEPT 2017.

IT WAS A FOGGY DAY DOWN AT THE BEACH.
SO HERE IS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER RINGING THE FOG BELL ON THE PIER AT HARTLEPOOL'S HEADLAND.

MEANWHILE BACK IN SEATON CAREW THE FOG ROLLED IN.

A NUMBER OF FISHERMEN DOWN TOWARDS NORTH GARE.
AS I APPROACHED I NOTICED THE FIRST GROUP OF FOUR WERE ALL WEARING THE SAME CAMOUFLAGE JACKETS AND TROUSERS, AS IF THE FOG WASN'T HIDING THEM ENOUGH.

THE WAVES ROLLED IN FOG OR NO FOG.

TONIGHT'S FINDS.
THE LARGE BOTTLE BASE WOULD HAVE SAID WEST HARTLEPOOL. IT WAS FROM BACK IN THE DAY WHEN YOU GOT MORE BOTTLE THAN CONTENTS, THE GLASS IS SO THICK.

BEACH BUOY.
