SEATON SANDS TO NORTH GARE 04-04-16.

AFTER A RAINING DAY AT WORK, THE BEACH AND A BREAK IN THE WEATHER CALLED IT'S SIREN.

THE TIDE WAS ON THE WAY OUT, AS WE TRIED TO GRAB THE LIGHTER NIGHTS BY THE THROAT.

THE VIEW ACROSS TO SOUTH GARE AND BEYOND.
AFTER YESTERDAY'S TRIP TO SOUTH GARE I WILL AT THIS VIEW IN A NEW LIGHT ... IT WAS ALWAYS  "OVER THERE" BUT MY VISIT MADE ME REALISE THAT IF YOU GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS BEFORE THE PIERS ETC. WERE BUILD THEN ; THE SAND DUNES BOTH HERE AND OVER THERE ARE JUST A CONTINUATION OF THE SAME, AS IS THE BEACH . THEY JUST HAPPEN TO BE DIVIDED BY A RIVER,
A RIVER  THAT ATTRACTED INDUSTRY AND ALL THAT GOES WITH IT, AS MANY RIVERS DO, WITH THE INBUILT TRANSPORT SYSTEM ; THE SEA.

A RATHER DARK VIEW BACK TOWARDS THE SOUTH END OF SEATON CAREW VILLAGE.

CAN YOU SEE THE LARGE CIRCULAR LAGOON TYPE PATCH OF WATER?
THIS IS WHERE LAST NIGHT'S WRECK WAS, SO MUCH SAND HAS MOVED TO CREATE THIS LAGOON TYPE EFFECT, THUS EXPOSING THE WRECK. SO MUCH SAND HAS GONE, A FACT BROUGHT TO REALITY  BY HAVING TO WALK UPHILL TOWARDS THE SAND DUNES.

LOVE EARLY MORNING AND LATE EVENING LIGHT.

AS A THE BEACH WAS DESERTED, BOTH DOGS WERE LET OFF THEIR LEADS, THEY HAD A WHALE OF A TIME.

ON THE WAY BACK I NOTICED THE RECEDING TIDE HAD DRAINED THE LAGOON, EXPOSING THE WRECK ONCE MORE.

I HAVE SENT PHOTOGRAPHS AND DETAILS TO TEES ARCHAEOLOGY IN THE HOPE THEY CAN IDENTIFY THE WRECK OR MAYBE EVEN CONFIRM THAT IT IS A NEW FIND.

MY #2MINUTEBEACHCLEAN .. NOT A LOT , BUT THE BEACH WAS VERY CLEAN AFTER OTHERS CARRIED OUT A BEACH CLEAN OVER THE WEEKEND.

JUST A FEW FINDS.
