07 APRIL 2016. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

A high tide walk in the late afternoon, some scum had washed in with the tide.

There had been showers all through the day and I managed to find an hour or so of sunshine for the walk.

Balloons are a big problem for marine life.
Here we have the ribbon and the thread of the balloon entangled with the sea-weed.
Nature and Nasty together.

Just a few steps down the strand line ......

When you think about it even  lovely seagrass is just old pollution.

Not a great deal of finds and you never know when you are going to need a wooden wedge.

Thumbs up for a #2minutebeachclean.

WRECK NEWS.
Tees Archaeology have been in touch to say the wreck doesn't seem to be on the Historic Environment Records and say "It looks like a new discovery."
They say the ship looks to be either  18th or 19th Century  in date.
They are going to Seaton Carew on Friday in the hope that the wreck can be seen to plot it's position and take more photographs.
