13th OF APRIL 2016. SEATON CAREW, HARTLEPOOL, ENGLAND.

THE CHURCH CLOCK STRUCK  6-30 p.m. AS MYSELF AND THE TWO DOGS REACHED THE BEACH.
IT HAD THREATENED TO RAIN BUT THANKFULLY IT HELD OFF.
IT WAS A GREY NIGHT BUT NOWHERE NEAR AS GREY AS LAST NIGHT'S BLANKET OF FOG.

THE BEACH WAS FAIRLY QUITE, MAYBE DUE TO THE THREAT OF RAIN ?

AS WE HEADED ALONG TOWARDS NORTH GARE, THE SIGNS WERE PROMISING, WITH SCATTERS OF STONES AMONGST THE SAND AND BANKS OF SHINGLE AHEAD.
WE WALKED AS FAR AS THE INCOMING TIDE WOULD LET US; FINDING LOTS OF GLASS AND POTTERY AS WE WENT.
