WET SEATON CAREW 07-11-15.

I HAD TO DROP THE CAR OFF FOR A SAFETY CHECK AND HAD DECIDED TO WALK BACK TO BASE VIA THE BEACH.
IT WAS RAINING
IT WAS REALLY RAINING!
ABOVE IS THE VIEW TOWARDS SEATON CAREW FROM NEWBURN BRIDGE. IN 1901 MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WON THE SEA GALLANTRY MEDAL NEAR HERE.

THIS IS THE VIEW NORTH AND IT IS WHERE THE RESCUE TOOK PLACE BACK IN 1901.

THERE WAS A PATCH OF GRAVEL AMONGST THE ROCKS; THERE WAS NO FINDS HERE.

YES ! WE HAVE PALM TREES ... VERY WET PALM TREES.

BY THE TIME THE DOG AND I HAD REACHED THE SERPENT WE WERE SOAKED TO THE BONE
