SEATON CAREW BEACH, SUNDAY 29 11 15.

LATE AFTERNOON AND ANOTHER BREAK IN THE WEATHER TEMPTED ME  ON TO MY LOCAL BEACH AT SEATON CAREW.

YOU MAY NOTICE THE SAND STORM FROM THE DUNES BEHIND ME.

SKY, CLOUD, SEA AND SAND.

IT WAS VERY WINDY!

THE WAVES OFTEN LOOK LIKE A SEA SERPENT NEAR THIS MARKER.

THE TIDE WAS TRYING TO COME IN.

SAETON CAREW'S CLOCK TOWER AT THE BUS STATION.

SORRY FOR PICTURE QUALITY IT WAS BLOWING A GALE  AND THE RAIN FOLLOWED ME BACK TO BASE.

SEATON CAREW SEA POTTERY AND SEA GLASS.

MIDDLETON BEACH, HARTLEPOOL SUNDAY 29 11 15.

A SHORT BREAK IN THE TERRIBLE WEATHER; AND THE DOG AND ME HEADED FOR MIDDLETON.

LOW TIDE ON A BLUSTERY BRACING BEACH.

IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE THE SUN WAS GONE AND THE RAIN WAS BACK AND THE SKY TURNED GREY.

THE FISH SANDS,

THE POO BAGS WERE MY DOGS.I HAVE SHOWN THEM TO HIGHLIGHT THE FACT THAT EVEN ON A DESERTED BEACH ... I PICK UP.
SOME OWNERS PICK UP WHEN WATCHED , BUT DITCH THE BAG WHEN NO ONE LOOKING ... SHAME ON YOU!

SEATON CAREW SATURDAY 28 11 15.

LOW TIDE AT SEATON CAREW; LOOKING NORTH TOWARDS HARTLEPOOL'S HISTORIC HEADLAND.

TOWARDS THE GARES; NORTH AND SOUTH GARE. NOTICE THE BEACHCOMBERS SCATTERED ALONG THE SHORELINE.

SOMETIMES IT'S GRAVEL SOMETIMES IT'S SAND... THE SEA DECIDES.

BOTH DOGS HAD COATS ON ... IT WAS COLD .

EVEN THE PLAINEST PIECE OF GLASS LOOKS NICE WHEN WET ON THE BEACH.

SEA SERPENT WIH THE USUAL SEAGULLS AROUND IT.

THE SIGN AT NORTH GARE.

I WAS HERE.

BLUE LAGOON.

SOUTH GARE FROM NORTH GARE; THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER TEES.

GHOST FISHING GEAR ATTACHED TO SEAWEED.

SEATON CAREW FRIDAY 28 11 15.

I COLLECTED MY AND MY DAUGHTER'S DOG AND WENT TO SEATON CAREW;BEARING IN MIND IT WAS HIGH TIDE I WASN'T EXPECTING TO FIND MUCH.

FAIRLY DESERTED BEACH ... LOOKING SOUTH TOWARDS THE RIVER TEES.

THESE TWO WERE PULLING ME ALONG.

ALONG THE STRANDLINE WAS VARIOUS DEAD CRAB AND LOTS OF SEAWEED; TORN FROM THE ROCKS OUT IN THE BAY DURING RECENT ROUGH SEAS.
THIS FELLOW WAS STILL ALIVE AND DID HAVE A BIT OF FIGHT LEFT IN HIM. IT WAS POINTLESS THROWING HIM BACK OUT TO SEA AS HE WAS SO WEAK.

I DECIDED TO TAKE THE LITTLE CHAP TO THE CALM OF THE BLUE LAGOON , TO GIVE HIM A FIGHTING CHANCE.

WE PASSED THE SERPENT ... AS USUAL IT HAD SEABIRDS FOR COMPANY.

THE BLUE LAGOON AT THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER TEES.

GOOD LUCK LITTLE FRIEND.

I HEADED BACK TO SEATON CAREW. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO DOES THE STONE WALKWAYS IN THE DUNES.

NO DOUBT THE SAME PESON REPAIRED THIS SEAT IN THE DUNES.

THIS COD WAS FLAPPING FOR LIFE STRANDED ON THE BEACH AS I WALKED BACK.
I PICKED HIM UP AND COULD FEEL THE POWER IN HIM,SO I KNEW I WAS SAFE TO RETURN IT THE SEA AT SEATON CAREW. I THREW IT BEYOND THE BREAKING WAVES.
A FEW FINDS AND A MASSIVE SHELL.

MIDDLETON BEACH, HARTLEPOOL 28 11 15.

I FINISHED WORK EARLY AND MADE A QUICK, DOG FREE VISIT TO MY CHILDHOOD HAUNT AT MIDDLETON BEACH.
AS YOU CAN SEE THE TIDE WAS HIGH; SO NOT MUCH BEACH VISABLE AT ALL REALLY.  I TOOK A COUPLE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND SPENT 15 MINUTES OR SO WALKING TOWARDS THE JETTY IN THE DISTANCE, LOOKING FOR FINDS IN THE SMALL AREA AVAILABLE AS I WENT.

THE VIEW OUT TO THE NORTH SEA.

THE VIEW SOUTH, TOWARDS THE HARTLEPOOL MARINA.

FOUND SOME STOCK FOR CRAFT PROJECTS,; DRIFTWOOD, SEA POTTERY, SEA GLASS AND SEA TUMBLED COOPER SHEET.
