SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 2, JUNE, 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-32 p m.
It has been a hot day.
A welcome breeze blew from the west.

The tide was way out.
The Seaton Carew Wreck was fully ashore but now it was almost completely buried by sand.
It had become overcast but the day's heat remained.
At the dune edge, various beach parties were coming to an end.

They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

7-59 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He plonked he body onto the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
Coffee.
Skylarks.
He folded his arms with a smug look on his face.
He loved sitting here.

"See you mate."

The returned to the big slope.

They paused to admire the view.

As the reached the edge of the dune system, a horse arrived.

BEACH BUOY.

2JUNE 2024. BIKE RIDE TO THE MARINA.

Just a bike ride to the Marina and back.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 2 JUNE 2024.

Beach Buoy woke at 4 -21 a.m.
Sunrise was 4-34.
They could make it.
Beach Buoy up and at 'em.
Another Dog gave that look...
No matter what, she wasn't coming willingly.
Beach Buoy waited.
Almost an hour later she was in her bed, still asleep and comfy.
"Beach!, walk! Out!"
all had same undesired effect.
He set of with a coffee and a note book for company.
He arrived at the beach car park at 5-15.
The photograph above was taken upon his arrival.

He retrieved his beach bag from the back of the van.
A slide of the side door and he was off.

The group from the night before had thankfully left the access area 99.9 percent clean.
One small bag had a small candle, the name of the person remembered.
Light this in their memory.
He put it in his beach bag.

The man with a rucksack and a Rottweiler played at the water's edge.
His rucksack laid to the right of him.
He always comes really early.
The big dog is no bother.
It's friendly, with a head as big as a Bear's.

Beach Buoy headed south as he usually does.
Swooping Sand Martins up above.

A Pheasant creaked up in the dunes.

The man with a rucksack and a Rottweiler gradually worked his way north.

A man and dog appeared from the dunes
They headed to the sea.

Beach Buoy gathered four stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

They climbed the big slope before setting off on the "easy" route.

At the side of the sandy path Beach Buoy spotted Mari's stone that he had painted and placed on the stack.
He placed it in a pocket before continuing south.

5-56
"Morning Mate."
He added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

As he sat with a coffee on a driftwood wedge about a metre long, a flock of Geese seemed to fly to the Sun.

Sand Martins did a camera-dodging flight all around him.

Beach Buoy let the Sun warm his face.
The sound of the sea reassured his soul.

Beach Buoy stood up to stretch ...

Geese!

Wonderful Geese!

Beach Buoy savoured every flap of those large wings as they flew by.

They flew off into the bay, beyond the Sea Serpent Marker.

Beach Buoy sat, a bit dazed by the encounter.
He stood to go...
He could hear Geese.
He reached for his phone.

The undulating flock seemed to be heading his way?
Click.

Closer!
Click.

They were heading "this " way!
Click.
Click.
Click.

The birds even seemed to flying central to the stack.
Click.
Click.
Click.

They flew just high enough to clear the dune edge.
Click.

Unbelievable.
They flew either side of Beach Buoy.
Click.

Snooks drawing .

It was Spectacular.

Beach Buoy swivelled like a swivelling thing.
Click.
 Click.

Beach Buoy was totally engrossed.

A loud whistle travelled along the beach
Beach Buoy knew it well.
It was the one that the 7 a.m.
Club would do when trying to call Mari back from one of her adventures.

This whistle was for Beach Buoy.
The 7 a.m. club  ere the Grey Rocks.
They shared distant waves.

Beach Buoy headed south , collecting sea glass as he walked.

Paddle.
To celebrate the Goose encounter.
Shoes off at The Tank Traps.

They headed back north.
More Geese.
They headed north too.

Back to the car park.

Beach Buoy made a milky coffee in the van
He smiled.

What a start to the day.

Late beach . Seaton Sands, Hartlepool. 1, June, 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog went to the beach after 10 p.m.

The tide was well out.
People were still heading for the sea.

Another Dog was curious as to why so many people were down by the beach access ramp.

Almost 10-15

There was around thirty people at the beach access ramp and on The Esplanade above.
They had lit the letters
AT
on the beach with coloured tea lights.

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 1, JUNE, 2024.

5-40 a.m.
"Let's rock "

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 5-50.
It was bright and breezy.
A chilly breeze it was that blew from the north.

The tide was way out.
They headed south.
An owner and dog were way ahead.
The Little Terns chattered loudly as they went from nest site to sea and sea to nest site.
Along the dune edge, six Sand Martins seemed to sing and dance in mid air.

Someone had been writing in the sand.

Rejoice

Alexis

They climbed the big slope.
They walked the "easy" route.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-18.
He added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy went and sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He drank coffee.

Gulls drifted north, when the strength of the breeze allowed.
Skylarks sang.

"See you mate."

They continued southwards along the dune edge.

The 7 a.m club was down on the beach below with his two small white dogs.
The spirit of Mari ran ahead.

Tempted by a shingle search, Beach Buoy dropped down onto the beach below.

The only things he found were peace and quiet.
He sat down.
World War Two Tank Traps ahead.
A crumbling dune edge machine gun post to the rear.
So peaceful surrounded by symbols of war.

They headed back.

They stopped to to Purdy's mam.
She was off to Sand Martin Corner.
She loves the Sand Martins.
They chatted briefly.
Wishing other well, they set off in opposite directions.

The beach was vast
The clouds were glorious.

A man and his massive dog headed towards the sea.

On the way to the van, they chatted to Team Mick Aston Jumper.

Gulls passed by as the fought over scraps.

It made taking photographs a piece of cake.
Don't tell them
They would want some.

A group of all male swimmers went to the sea.
