Wednesday morning at 6-06.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park.
They headed down the access ramp to the beach.
They headed to the sea.
The air was almost still.
It had a slight chill.
The Bay's Wind Turbines stood idle.
The sea was like a mirror.
He collected five suitable stones.
At 6-11 the Sun appeared.
It was north of all of the turbines.
A date to make note of for next year should he still be around.
He smuggly thought that it was their own private sunrise.
He couldn't see anyone along the beach, both North and south.
There up on a dune height.
A sunrise seeker, phone in hand.
It was alright, there was enough Sun to share.
Beach Buoy took photographs too.
Sometimes you just need to put down the phone down and savour the moment.
The sunrise seeker must have walked the dunes?
The beach was a blank canvas.
No paw or footprints to puzzle over.
A Ship took aim at the river mouth.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
The sound of a distant Skylark was joined by an early morning bad news siren.
Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones to the base of the small slope.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-38.
He added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Another Dog.
Ruby.
There must be over 3000 stones up at the stack.
Why paint on a Brakesy?
It saddened Beach Buoy.
He had a sit and think in the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
He had brought coffee and two chocolate biscuits.
The coffee was hit and welcome.
It was the first of the day.
A Ship rounded the Turbines before heading south.
The view north.
Sit and Think - The Movie.
A small brown dog appeared at the water's edge.
It was squeaking it's squeaky toy.
It's owner, a lady was crossing over the grey rocks like a tightrope walker.
She made it to the sands.
She looked up and gave a returned distant wave to the stack.
Beach Buoy recognised her from a chat on the access ramp a few days ago.
They had discussed how lucky they were to have the beach.
Headphones on, her and her squeaking dog headed back north along the water's edge.
Beach Buoy stood to go.
They had been sat for around twenty minutes.
The driftwood seat with an elevated view doesn't have a cushion...
To the west, two Magpies stood at their usual spot.
Joy took flight leaving sorrow behind.
He scattered some seeds for the Crows.
The Sand Martins may not be here yet but their breakfast was.
Midges hovered around.
"See you mate."
He had planned to continue south.
Another Dog had other ideas.
The Look.
She won.
They headed back to the north.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie made their way south.
Their paths crossed on the low level route.
They had a lovely chat.
Excellent Dog Alfie was feeling socialable today he seemed to listen in as Beach Buoy gave him a neck scratch.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned north.
Team Muzzled Dog headed south along the strand-line.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The lady who walks the full length of the beach headed south along the water's edge.
"Morning."
"Morning."
They headed to the wreck.
Dylan the Dog and owner were walking to the West.
Distant waves were shared.
Beach Buoy threw some seeds to a nearby Crow.
They rested on The Esplanade wall, watching the world go by and time pass like a leaking bucket.
BEACH BUOY.
