13, JULY 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach about fifteen minutes later than they had doing so recently.
He was surprised to see that all of the regulars were still in and around their usual spots.
Perhaps everyone was slightly later today
Then again, its not on the clock.
There isn't a late.
A man pulled up in a yellow VW Transporter.
He went around to take photographs of it.

The lady who once fell off her bike and her companion had just began to head back north along the Esplanade.

The 7 a.m. club were heading north.
He had a collection of beach -found towels.
They will be washed and given to The Dog's Trust.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading home.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The vast majority of the Little Terns had gone.
They came and left earlier than normal.
A few remained, waiting until the young were ready for their epic journey.
Seven flew by, chattering.
More joined them, maybe a dozen in total?

The tide had turned from high about an hour earlier.
There was a pleasant breeze from the  north.

The man who once had four dogs but now has three, cut across from the dunes.
Unintentionally he lead the way south.

The Turbines looked north towards the breeze.

Team One Black Ear approached from the south.
Milo, the Borrowed Black Labrador arrived first.
He dropped his ball at Beach Buoy's feet.
Beach Buoy obliged.
The others arrived, they chatted.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of Hugo, the dog with one black ear as they did so.
They went their separate ways.

The Sea Serpent Marker with Turbines beyond.

The Stone Tape
Or
A broken piece of tile.
It all depends on your outlook.

7-28.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl before sitting on the driftwood seat with a raised elevation.

A man arrived from the south.
They had a nice chat.
His Black Labrador had recently lost part of an ear to cancer.
It was a big friendly dog.
After their chat the man continued north along the "easy" route.
He had parked up near Seaton Snooks so would return southwards later.

The lady with three dogs stopped just below Stubborn Dog Stack to do stretching exercises.

When it quietened down, Beach Buoy had a sit and think.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.
The man with the "ear" Labrador was heading back south
Beach Buoy gave a distant wave of acknowledgement.

The lady with the brown dog had left her red coat behind.
It was mild after all.
They chatted.
Her Brown Spaniel kept dropping it's ball in the shallow water.
It was as if he wanted her to get wet also.

The Sauna Tent had been set up at the southern end of the Esplanade.
A dozen men in matching black trunks headed to the sea.

Back at the van...
The beach mate whose Dad knew Beach Buoy's Dad pulled up .
Beach Buoy showed him the photographs from 51 years ago before sending them to him by Watts app.

BEACH BUOY.
