SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 3, MARCH, 2024.

Beach Buoy had gone to bed at 7-30 but was up at 11-15.

He returned to bed at 1-35 a.m., rising again at 5-11.

Beach Buoy located his Beach Bag and Another Dog's lead and harness.

He placed them near to Another Dog's bed.

The dog glanced up.

She pretended that she hadn't seen them.

She snuggled deeper into her bed as if to prove just how comfortable it was.

They set off on foot at 6-15.

There was no rush.
Beach Buoy let Another Dog have as many sniff stops as she wanted .

One of the two excellent stone pillars that welcome people into Seaton Carew.

They reached The Esplanade at 6-34.
Moments later they were on the beach.

It was a grey day.
There was a slight chill in the slight breeze that blew from the south.
It wasn't cold.
The tide seemed to be just as much in as it was out.

The Moon, over the park seemed to have been perfectly sliced in half.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

Two sunrise seekers sat up on the dune edge.
It would be a hidden sunrise today.

Two Oyster Catchers stood at the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed southwards.

They climbed the steep dune slope that led to the "easy" route through the dunes.
Once at the top , Beach Buoy gave a distant wave to the man with the white dog with one black ear, down on the beach below.

7-06..
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He sat drinking coffee as the Sun tried to show.

Beach Buoy sat watching the waves, as smug as a man who has just been told the secrets of the universe, the meaning of life.
Nearby, Another Dog sat watching the pathway, keeping guard.

"See you mate."
They began to head back.

As they rejoined the beach the Sun broke through.

A man walked a dog.
A man walked a mobile phone.
A lady and her three dogs played in and by the sea.

They headed back towards the village.

Everyone should be this free....
Thought Beach Buoy.

To the north, The sea swimmers entered the water.

Nearby, a Young Spaniel danced around with a driftwood stick in it's mouth as though it were conducting an Orchestra.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back along The Esplanade.
