SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 27, MARCH, 2024.

The Village Church Bells rang out for 4 p.m.

Another Dog stepped out of the side door of the van.

They had parked in Seaton Park Car Park.

It was bright and breezy.

They headed for The Esplanade and the beach beyond.

A couple and their two dogs were up ahead.
They eventually walked from the sea to the car park.

To the North, a young couple threw a ball for an old dog.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south, into a headwind.

Clouds claimed and returned the sunlight as they whizzed by.

Others headed north ,along the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued their walk.
Up a large sandy slope, up to the "easy" route.
The sound of Skylarks piped them aboard.

"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy sat down on the sloping driftwood log.
Someone had kindly both levelled it and made good a intermittent roll.
Beach Buoy drank coffee.
It was hot and strong.
Another Dog laid flat, totally at ease.

The Bay was magnificent.
Bumpy and lumpy, with waves breaking as they neared shore.

Time to go.
It was too nice.
Beach Buoy stayed another ten minutes.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the north.
A doodle dog came to say hello.

The tide was just begining heading out.

Two hoods were up.
A tailwind helped them on their way.

The lady with Scruffy the whispy dog passed by.
"Hiya."
"Hiya."
A brief chat about dogs, beaches and where each was going to have their ashes put.
Stack for Beach Buoy.
Sea for the lady.
She is a sea swimmer, so will be well at home.

They went their separate ways.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the van at 5-44 p.m.
