SEATON SANDS, 08 JAN 2022.

It was around 4a.m. when Beach Buoy woke.

The kettle went on at 5-05 as did Radio Cornwall.
Jack Murley came on the radio at 6.
Beach Buoy said "Hi." to Cornwall.
Cornwall said "Hi. " back.
By 7-12 they were parked up in a cold and dark car park, waiting for daylight.

The man who walks past wearing headphones, walked past.

When it was finally was time to go, Another Dog was reluctant to do so.

The move was made.
It was 7-48 a.m. as they started their walk.
It was still only just half light.

Silhouette Gulls flew inland.
There was a cold wind from the south west.
The tide was more in than it was out.
White breaking surf seemed to unzip a grey/ blue sea in the early morning "light."

A couple headed north on the water's edge.

In the distance an illuminated dog collar glowed
The light approached.
A big white friendly dog stood waiting for a neck scratch.
Beach Buoy obliged with a gloved hand.
A black gloved hand that was white with dog fur😬.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south into the cold wind.
It felt as if daylight would never come.
They were only halfway along the beach when Beach Buoy felt the first raindrop on his face.
They headed for
Stubborn Dog Stack....

"Morning Mate."
He added stones, then patted
THE
stone.
It was 8-13.
A large dog appeared.
There was a bit of a tense stand off.
"Ranger!"
The dog was called away.

They stayed a while.
"See you Mate."

They headed back down onto the beach.

A lady walked along with a Bouncy Spaniel.

The Pilot Boat headed out to meet and greet a large ship that had turned and took aim at the river mouth.

A young family headed south into the fresh wind.
It was nice to a family up and out.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived back in the van as fine rain turned to heavy.
BEACH BUOY.
