It was around 1 pm when Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog reached Hartlepool's Headland.
A strong wind blasted the beach.
They walked the Town Wall.
Passing the Pilot Pier....
... and Hartlepool's Andy Capp.
Andy is alongside The Pot House.
That's handy for Andy.
The wind blasted the Town Wall and The Fish Sands below, the sands where they hung the monkey.
The ancient Town Wall now has flood defences fitted.
Beach Buoy cut through an alley way and came face to face with this grand building.
It's less attractive rear faces the sea.
A locked gate.
A Covid Test Centre and a Church.
Beach Buoy walked around.
He made this photograph look old as he wishes it was all in the past.
What an awful year!
A way out.
St. Hilda's is a stunning building.
They returned to the comfort of the van.
Beach Buoy had rotated the passenger's seat so that he could look out to the open sea.
Stubborn Dog had other ideas.
They stayed until dark and left.
BEACH BUOY.

So nice to see the historic side of the beach. Would like to know the story of some of those old buildings. Maybe maritime connections like Berwick upon Tweed.
