SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 15 JULY 2020.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at the
 car park at 6-15 pm.
A new mobile food outlet had parked up on the
promenade called The Hungry Seagull.

They headed for the beach.
A couple were leaving the beach with their odd looking dog.
It was a black dog with a white face as if it had been looking in a bag of flour for his favourite toy.
He may have been a Border Collie but it wasn't clear, thanks to its very unusual markings.

They carried on to the south.
Another dog; definitely a Border Collie, rounded up a thousand invisible beach sheep as its owners walked and chatted seemingly unaware of their dogs sterling work.
Those sheep were beginning to become a nuisance to be honest.

A young couple walked on the wet sand.
They were very vocal, their reflections followed along in silence.

A Man was litter picking up near the stack.
He had a large dog for company.
Beach Buoy gave the stack a miss for tonight and headed towards the North Gare Pier.
It was then that he realised that he hadn't heard the Skylarks.
Have they gone?

They went down to the North Gare Corner Sandbank to do a Sand Martin head count.
Four of five flew around.
Beach Buoy watched as one them  climbed into its sandy burrow.

They turned to head back as a Lone Oyster Catcher walked the water's edge.

Two fishermen fished as their dog ran around in circles, thanks to the rope that it was tied to.
A slow walk back with plenty of space.

A photographer stands at the water's edge; Yachts the subject matter.
