SEATON SANDS, NORTH GARE BEACH AND CRIMDON. 16 DEC. 2017.

It was bright but cold on this early morning walk.
It was almost low tide.

Around  8-25 am and the Sun appears.

Already 8-45am and the Sun has not long appeared, it makes you realise how little daylight we have at this time of year.

THE DARK NIGHTS!

We crossed over to North Gare Beach and the River mouth.

What looks like part of a Boat handrail ?
I love the colours usually used on these boat related driftwood fragments..

Each piece seems to show it's history with colours of the past showing through.
It's not clear on the photograph but this Orange piece has Blue showing through.

The tide had turned by the time we had reached the river mouth and the North Sea rolled in.

Remember this Sky.

Back on Seaton Sands I found what looked like a rusting Rose.

Slowly making my way back as the Sea tried to reclaim the Beach.

The sands have shifted and revealed The Seaton Wreck.

Later in the day I headed to Crimdon Beach, just North of Hartlepool.

YAY!

It was bitterly cold.
