Landed on Beach around 4-10pm.
There was a mild breeze.
The tide was out a fair bit.

Still some nice light about.

SEATON SANDS, 30 OCTOBER, 2017. ... and a T.V. murder!

Joined the Beach at Seaton Carew Central and headed to Seaton Sands. As you may see lots of sand has gone from this part of the Beach due to the recent strong winds... it will be back.

I walked as far as North Gare Pier, but  did look North as I walked in search of a half decent photograph.

A tangle of over 20' of rope.
It ended up in the Bin.

I don't watch much TV, but it was the first DARK EARLY NIGHT, so I ended up watching Inspector George Gently, mainly because that it was the Channel that the TV was on when I turned it on. I know this show and Vera use the area for filming so I thought if nothing else I would look out for places I knew.
Turns out he was shot in the back on the Beach above, we have always called it the Blue Lagoon it is officially known as North Gare Beach.

It wasn't me ....not guilty.

BEACHES OF 29 OCTOBER 2017.

The clocks went back in the early hours so my usual 7am Beach start was a little lighter today.
I needed to dig the gloves out and double coats for the Dog as there was a very brisk Northerly wind and it had a bite.

I glanced back to see a lone Seagull battle against the strong wind.

The Beach was scattered with these small Jellyfish.

The Sea was wild.

Saltburn to Staithes appear from the gloom.

Headed back with rain for company.

Eco friendly cuppa in the car to warm up.

Hit the Beach again around 3-15.

The Sea was still rough.

I crossed over North Gare Pier.
Fisherman stood at the mouth of The River Tees.

The waves rolled into the River mouth.

The Brent Delta platform as seen from The Blue Lagoon.

Far too heavy to move; A fall arrest unit.

Back to the Bay and Seaton Carew via the Sand Dunes.

A Dune view of Brent Delta.

VARIOUS BEACHES AND MEMORIES 28 OCTOBER 2017.

I was awake at stupid o'clock and got to the Beach around 10 past Silly o'clock.  Waiting for the light to come

Light came eventually and to the North showed the clouds over Hartlepool's Headland.

To the South the Sky was brighter

I headed off to Middleton Beach; The Beach of my childhood days. It was a couple of hours to high tide .

Middleton, when we were kids you had to make the decision as the tide came in like this... could you still make it to the Cabin side of the village?

Sea coal.

Dad and Me at his Cabin; the first one as you came off the Pier.
He made the seat on the side for people to sit and enjoy the sea view.

This part of Middleton Beach and the Banjo Jetty no longer exist thanks to Dock modifications. It shows our Dog, my Dad and me pondering life.

My drawing of same.

Dad collecting sea coal for an elderly relative.

Brother, Dad and Me on Middleton Pier.

Dad fishing on the Jetty.

Me, Brother and Dad at Middleton Fouyboatman's Cabin.

After Memory Lane I stopped at South Pier Beach; a tiny Beach in Middleton Harbour.

Not sure who they are but it is a family photograph from same spot as above ... there or thereabouts.

Recent finds number 1.

Recent finds number 2.

Later in the day British Summer Time  said farewell in a spectacular fashion!

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL, 27 0CTOBER 2017.

It was a lovely late afternoon walk on Hartlepool's Seaton Sands Beach at Seaton Carew.

THE SEA CALLED
I CAME
IT'S NEVER THE SAME
THE TIDES, THE WAVES,
THE WATERY GRAVES,
THE FROTH THE FOAM
A PLACE TO ROAM
THE SEA CALLED
I CAME.

The Light was stunning; everything so clear and colourful.

No finds as such today.
It was a Sea day anyway.

The Gold of Summer has gone.
The Pink of autumn is here.

I could sit all day and watch the Sea and Sky constantly change their colours, their moods.

"It's grim up North."
Yes, I don't know how we cope!
Seaton Carew, Hartlepool,

Hartlepool; a Seaside Town,
All line up to put us down.

Love where you live.
