SEATON SANDS 14-08-16

An Evening walk; now becoming earlier and earlier as already, the nights are closing in. We are losing about 15 minutes a week as Autumn starts to stretch and yawn. A lone metal detectors scans the Beach hoping to cash in on someone else's misfortune.....

This pipe is a good guide to the sand movement .
Most of the time it is completely buried.
Sometimes it stands proud of the sands by maybe 150mm or so, today it is more like 900mm. If you take that amount of sand off for the full beach length, then the amount of sand moved is spectacular.

Another Lilac piece of glass.

Finds...

Another Lobster Pot to the collection; picked as part of my #2minutebeachclean ... a bottle and balloons too.

BEACH BUOY.
