MIDDLETON BEACH , HARTLEPOOL. 11 - 08 - 16.

The tide was low.
Sea coal gatherers were on the beach.
They drag the top layer of sea coal into piles in readiness for a shovel  to pick up truck collection.
More piles can be seen in the distance.

A work of art ?

This large chunk of sea glass is circular.
It would have been over 300mm in diameter and is over 20mm thick, which lead me to think it could be off  a lighthouse?

The rest of the Middleton finds....

Beach Buoy.
